bought this for a 3 1/2 year old boy. it is not as solid as I had hoped it would be, but should work out okay. an adult would be advised not to sit on the edge of the bed with a little one. it is low to the floor so if they would slip by the rails, the fall would scare them more than hurt. if you have an active little one that likes to jump, this would probably not be the bed for you as the rails that go across are just particle board smoothed and pressed. for the money, with discounts, this should work fine. very cute and stylish.

Cute bed!
I bought this bed for my 19 month old daughter to help transition her from co-sleeping to her own bed and she loves it! The bed is durable and easy to put together. My older daughter loves it too and they jump on it and it doesn't even creak! It is cute and looks perfect in my baby girls room. I will be passing it on to my granddaughter when my daughter is done with it so its going to be well loved!

very stylish and quality for the $
I commute a long way and when gas prices went up we had to find temporary lodging arrangement for my toddler and I. I bought this bed, not sure if would be nice enough and it really is a nice little bed. Its close to the ground so its safer for little ones who have not entirely adapted to being out of the crib. Its sturdy and it was a very good purchase. I wish her bed at home as nice.

Good/Sturdy Bed
We bought this bed for my daughter who is two and a half. The bed came in a small easy to move box. The instructions were easy to read and easy to follow along with. We had no problems with assembly. The bed went together very easily. It took us maybe an hour to get it completely assembled and ready for use. We ordered the black colored bed. This product seems to be very sturdy so far and my daughter enjoys her "big girl bed." I would recommend this product to a family looking to move their child up to the next size bed.
