Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Execution Like so many people i wanted this to be a FANTASTIC buy! however what i was left with was a terrible tabletop item that was hard to clean and couldnt even cook food evenly. Making just simple basic french fries took way too long. I could deal with that if the taste was amazing, but really it worse than just using a copper tray in the regular oven. The other HUGE downfall was the uneven cooking. I sliced up chicken breasts nice and thin to use in cutlet sandwiches. Well the spinning paddle within the machine basically just snags the chicken and bunches it all up so what you end up with is a ball of chicken thats cooked on the outside and raw in the center. Terrible terrible item. I returned my unit promptly

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible waste of money, I returned it. I had high expectations for this product and had researched it extensively. My family loves french fries and I had thought it would be great for summer (hamburgers on the grill, fries in the Acti-fry). However, the fries did not come out any better than in the oven (I tried fresh potatoes and frozen fries). And a cookie sheet is a lot cheaper and easier to clean. I also tried the beef and broccoli stirfry which again did not have any crispiness to it at all. The final reason I took it back is it takes sooooo long! 30 minutes for a small batch of fries? This product did not meet expectations at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does reduce the amount of oil used. My husband loves french fries, this does give you the taste, the clean up is easy, using 1 tablespoon of oil works, the suggestion to use Yukon gold potatoes does make a difference. We used the whole garlic cloves , it was great. The down side: It is expensive and the quanites you can make are small for a family of 4. If you are trying to eat healthy and love potatoes this would be for you.
