Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Beginners! My orthodontist had mentioned to use a water pik during the application of my new braces. I did purchase a small battery operated travel size to take to work. Much to my surprise the pressure was scary and I didn't try it on my teeth, only my hand. Fearful of water flossing, I did google search for adjustable water piks and much to my surprise, I found this one. I started with using pressure #3 and has gradually increased the pressure. I just love it and use it daily and wished I had used one all my life!! I am so happy with my new water pik and have purchased extra accessories for braces. Thank you for my healthy smile!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Reasonably priced, average waterpik I've only used this water pik for a few weeks. I can't seem to adjust it so the waterstream is firm but doesn't cause pain. It seems that the water stream is so narrow that I can't get the amount of pressure set as I would wish. The water pik PULSES and that makes it hard to adjust too. I like the knob and on off switch which are easy to maneuver which is important since I have arthritis. The water reservoir is a bit small so you have to get around your whole mouth quickly and then refill it. I Switched from Interplak since that one broke. This is adequate and hopefully will last me a while.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective but noisy My periodontist recommended I buy the WP-100 so I could clean below the gumline and under the teeth. It seems to work well - I can feel the water stream getting in there - but time will tell. As a floss replacement, I love it. It's odd at first using it, with the mouth open and water flowing/splashing out into the sink. But it feels good. My only quibble is the noise. Good grief! I use this in a small half-bath; that only magnifies the sound of the little motor. It'll probably be many years if not never before I replace it, but Waterpik really ought to sound-insulate this little bugger a little more effectively.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pressure! This waterpik is great. I brush my teeth first, then use the waterpik and it gets my teeth really clean. The machine is not loud but it isn't quiet either. I'm still learning how the other tips work, but as for the main tip its fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone. I love that you can adjust the pressure. Just a word of advise, if you do purchase this product; make sure you use room temperature water in the water basin. I used cold water my first go and it hurt my teeth. It may not bother you either way but my teeth are sensitive and I just wanted to warn you.
