Rated 4 out of 5 by from comfortable These are comfortable and good to work in. The sizing was wrong. The outside label showed what I ordered but the inside tag was two inches more in the waist and two inches shorter in the length. So I have to use a belt to hold them up but they did tighten a little after the first wash. Given the low price and the fact that they're comfortable and knowing I'm not going to wear them to church anyway, I don't intend to return them. But I'm not sure I'd order them again because of the size discrepancy. All in all though they are functional and I'll wear them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great carpenter pants I bought these for my husband who won't wear anything else but carpenter pants because of the extra pockets and loops. He is a builder and can carry many of his needed tools and supplies. We used to purchase these at a store but could rarely find his size or more than one pair. He often rips them or gets non removable stains on them so I need to purchase many pairs at a time. It is great that I can order any size and as many as I want on line. His only complaint is the phone pocket is not as large as it use to be and he can't get his phone in it anymore.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OK Quality..... But Why The Changes ? I have worn these same carpenter jeans for years. I recently ordered a new pair and found what others have complained about, the side tool pocket was narrowed about 1/2 inch. Why, with cell phones getting larger, would you make this pocket smaller ? Come on Dickies, if something is not broken, don't try to fix it. My other complaint is I believe the quality control has been cut out as one of the pairs I ordered has a very noticeable line in the fabric going down the front of the pants. While I chose to keep the pair, I know Dickies would have replaced them without question. But they should have caught the flaw in the fabric and not sent them out in the first place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from QUALITY in Clothes Have been wearing since 1963 when I started in the Railroad Industry . I retired from that job in 2008 but still wear DICKIES for work, for wife, or for leisure . I have always been impressed with the quality of the materials and workmanship. For about 25 years of my railroad career I took my work clothes to the laundry and had then wash, starched then ironed. Because of the quality and appearance I gain more respect from my co-workers and supervisors because of attention I afforded to looking nice for work. I also owned leisure wear that gained a like respect from their appearance. If I could have bought a Dress suit for church from DICKIES I would have.
