Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this attachment! I don't know how I did without this attachment as long as I did. I used to use a juicer to make tomato juice and I would have to put the pulp it ejected through a food mill after that. Once through is all you need with this attachment. All you have left is the skin and seeds that it spits out! It's also great to process apples for applesauce! You just quarter them, put them in a pot with a little water, cook them till they're soft, then put them through the strainer!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good with Blackberries! Good with tomatoes. Not good with blackberries. Constantly getting clogged and takes more time to clean out than it takes to strain the berries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this product I would buy a Kitchen Aid for this attachment alone! This makes no work out of making anything pureed - baby food, sauce, applesauce, salsa. The tray is too small and for the cost they should include a bigger one. Be careful and know that you have to have the meat grinder attachment to use this part. It is the piece that actually attaches to the mixer. I wish the waste dispenser has a longer chute because it sometimes falls into my puree bowl. The strainer cone is difficult to clean without a bottle brush but all in all everything goes together easily and make very light work of making sauce.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Applesauce, berries, tomato sauce I've had mine for over 10 years and have used it to make tomato sauce, apple & pear sauces, for removing seeds from blackberries, raspberries. Other than berries, I usually run the eliminated skins, etc. through a 2nd time which reduces that bulk by half again. Do NOT try to run berries through it twice as it could damage the machine.
