Rated 4 out of 5 by from Outstanding Iron Moving from a low end iron to the Rowenta Pro Master made an immediate difference. Initially I thought that the iron would not be worth it's price but that changed after using it the first time. Pros The iron has the right weight; not too heavy and not too light. The steam works excellent and emits a strong stream. The steam points at the tips help for items like shirt collars. Requires tap water Cons Pricey Can not see what the water level is, due to the dark color of the tank. Power cord could be longer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my Rowenta Pro Master DW8080 Look - i'm a guy. I'm interested in power, and this iron is a beast (in a great way!). 400 steam holes, slides over clothes like i never experienced with the cheap irons i used to use. I do all the ironing - my wife is very lucky - and this iron makes it that much more fun! Be careful with the steam, not to get your fingers to close to the base while ironing. Only complaint - the color of the base makes it difficult to see how full/empty the water basin is.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product I have owned a Rowenta iron for over 20 years. My last one after that timeframe kept turning off in the middle of ironing. I do feel I got my money's worth out of it and purchased a new one. The new one seems to drip water more than my last one ever did. May be operator error. I iron 5-7 days a week and do like that my clothes look freshly pressed as noticed by others.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quaility of Product not what Rowenta used to be I have had Rowenta products for 10+years. After my last iron failed after many years of outstanding operation, I decided to purchast this top of the line Rowenta. I used the iron for about two months and it started to spray water out when in midrange steam mode. I contacted Rowenta and they want me to send it back for 4 to 6 weeks for evaluation. For the price of the iron to only work for 2 months this is not a good buy. The warranty is bogus as what do you do for 4 to 6 weeks but go purchase another iron so don't waste you money. The Rowenta quality is not what it used to be. Buy a cheaper iron and you can replace it 5 times for the price of this one. I will never buy another Rowenta product again.
