Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful Kitchen Appliance I've used this many times over since purchasing. I'm new to the slow cooker realm so I'm still trying to find the balance between under and overcooking and so far this has not missed a mark cooking everything to perfection. LOVE the delayed start because I work long hours so it fits into my schedule. Also I have used this as a pressure cooker and that has worked spectacularly. One thing to note...apparently if you have a problem with it the company that makes it can be a pain to work with so it's worth the extra pennies to go with Kohl's. They have an awesome return policy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best Love the pressure cooker..... I have always used a pressure cooker but this one takes it to another whole level. My usual pressure cooker hisses and is really noisy. This one is the opposite. The browning feature is great to start out your meal, then you set the timer and walk away. It gets up to pressure and is silent, while your food is cooked to perfection. The slow cooker is like most slow cookers, but once again the timer feature takes it up a notch. Clean up is a breeze with the non stick surface. Liked it so much bought another for my daughter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Worthwhile Purchase This is a wonderful small appliance. I purchased this as an upgrade for an older pot that had cord isues and I was afraid to use. It is a well made appliance. It makes perfectly cooked rice, you can use it as a slow cooker and I mostly use it as a pressure cooker. I can not tell you how many times I have to have dinner on the table and have yet to take anything out of the refrigerator. You can add frozen food and it will only add minutes onto the cooking time. You can brown the food first in the same pot, if you like. Vegetables only take a few minutes. I have made soups in this pot. Stews come out very nicely, too. I used the recipe that was included in the cookbook that comes with this item and it was actually delicious. It tasted like it was simmering on the back burner all day, yet only took about 12 minutes. Even though it takes such a short time to cook a meal, I sometimes get involved doing something else. When the food is done, the pot beeps and automatically defaults to the "keep warm" mode.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be made with a bit more quality. This item seemed cheaply made to me. Very flimsy outer container and the inside pot is also made of very thin metal. I would assume the exterior would get very warm during use. It was also presented in such a way that I was under the impression I could prepare a larger amount of rice in it. Not so. I am returning it and going to purchase a rice cooker/slow cooker which is more along the line of what I was looking for.
