Rated 4 out of 5 by from Retro Wins Again I'm a woman who's gotten tired of I'll-fitting jeans and jeans that have spandex or elastic. Tired of trying to fit my maternal, middle-aged body into pre-teen cut, too too low cut jeans. I ordered 2 pairs different sizes, since women sizes are not available. I had fun soaking in tube of warm water. Took off, placed in old navy towel to remove excess water and hung to dry. One pair is big and like boyfriend style, the other more fitted. I've gotten compliments galore. I love the comfort of 501 Levi's and being to order jeans that were made to fit ME, not miny me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LEVI LIFER The only jeans my husband ever wears, ever. Levi's 501 shrink to fit, size 42x36. His only brand for 50 years, he tried Wrangler but after one wearing he never put the Wranglers on again. Levi 501 have become a rarity, nobody carries his size so we have to order them. As far as quality, not like they used to be. Years ago if you tried to wear them before washing them good luck bending your knees. The material used to be of thicker weight and a lot more durable. For those of you who complained about the texture, stiffness and fit, that's the way they're supposed to be. Size? Shrink to Fit, get it?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 501 + Stretch = Perfect Concept I have not purchased a pair of 501's in over 25 years it all changed with my first pair of 501's Stretch Jeans. I am truly back to loving my favorite brand of jeans thanks to the development of the Levi's 501's Original Fit Stretch Jeans. Now if Levi's would make the 501's Original Fit Stretch in both Black and White I would be on cloud nine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I think we've I should go back to the original quality and to the original 501 that it was back in the eighties quality is is gone downhill Back when I wore 501 shrink to fit button flies back in the eighties back when I was in high school and even Junior High you know the qually's not there as it is today materials thinner the buttons are smaller the buttons are grey instead of silver like they were back in the day pockets are Cuts Square they're not deep like the regular traditional cut pocket I'd be willing to pay the extra money to have the original. The original original from back you know seventies and eighties quality Taylor ship the engineering that went into the Levi Strauss button fly 501 there was a better quality to fit was better and I guess just happy with the old school style and would be willing to pay for the thicker gauge Levi you know and it was brown stitching you know and they're just different now days I don't feel that the quality is quite there the way it used to be you know so to speak and yesteryear I wish levi-strauss would go back to the original it says Levi Strauss Originals there original let's keep the original you know there's no substitute for quality you know a little bit more get a better product
