Rated 4 out of 5 by from Depends on where they are made! I order these for my husband because they don't carry his size in the store, which is disappointing but any who... I got 2 pair and they were made in Mexico and they were way to tight. I know I ordered his correct size, so I order 2 more pair and they are made in Egypt and they fit perfect! My husband told me that he has experienced this before and every time the ones from Egypt will fit right. But it is a big hassle to have to order online and wait and then have to do it again until we get the right ones and then to return the ones that are not correct.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not liking the changes made I have been wearing 501 Shrink to Fit sense i was 5 years old i am now 58 years old. I just bought a couple of pair and i noticed they were much thinner and no more double stitching on the inseam and the hem on bottom legs were much shorter. The fit is also not the same as they have been in the past. I think it is because levi has decided to sacrifice quality over profit margins and corporate greed .It is too bad to see such an icon go down this path. If I can get the old quality i would gladly pay for it. PS is there still some old style 501 shrink to fit, if so i would like to buy them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I was expecting As comfortable as ever and fit is perfect, but a couple of quirks have me wondering if I got the right product. Stitching is in various shades of white to deep marigold (expected color for Levi's) all over the garment. Seriously wrinkled in the crotch and knee areas--as seems to be the style with the younger generation (they want to look homeless?)--and no amount of ironing will return them to the "standard" look. I know Levi's makes some styles in the "used" or "found under a rock" style, but that is not what I was expecting from the pictured product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Staying with my 501's The only jeans I'll ever buy. However, there is a little inconsistency in the waist. One pair will be just right, another will be loose. Perhaps the variation is in the seat so the waist rides a little higher or lower. 501's still hold up well. I'm a carpenter and am kneeling, climbing, moving on concrete and generally putting a lot of wear on my Levis. The stitching has improved as they rarely bust out at the crotch or inside seam like they did 10 years ago. The button holes rarely give out. I think I'll stay with Levi's for another 30 years.
