Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought 3 pair of 569 - returned them all I've been wearing the Levi 569 for years and years and have always loved them. Most of mine were worn out so I went and bought 3 new pair. I discovered they have completely changed the cut, fit and quality! To start with, the denim is much thinner than all my old ones. One pair, one leg was shorter than the other!!. Additionally, the waist is 2 inches lower than before. They felt like they were falling off my rear. The front pockets are now so shallow I can't carry my iphone without it falling out. ATTN LEVI'S .... You screwed up by trying to cut costs and make these more hip. DO NOT buy these jeans if you are replacing the old 569s !!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Levis changed their cut - too short in the rise For years, I was confident in knowing that if I ordered Levis 569 loose fit for my husband, they would fit him. However, sometime over the last year or so, apparently Levis has changed their cut of the loose jean and it is no longer "loose". The rise is too short for my husband now, and he complained of the jeans riding up and being uncomfortable both in the crotch area and in the seat. The material is now also thinner than it used to be. We now have to find a replacement brand of jeans, which is a headache. We will not be returning to Levis unless they go back to the old, comfortable cut.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 569's aren't the same If you're looking for the older 2010 or older jean, this isn't the same. I have a 25" thigh, and it's not fat as I'm 6'4" and run alot. I decided to try and see if it was true that these are WAY tighter in the thigh like the reviews say... and yes... they are a lot tighter. I returned both colors I received in 569 Loose Straight Leg Jean. If you're 22" or less thigh, you'll feel comfortable. I'm torn because now I'm having to shop for different brands that fit me so much better. I loved my old levi's but they're no longer the same 569's that are actually "loose" for my legs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Why did Levi's change the 569 design? D': I've worn 569's since I was in Jr. High. They were always lose, comfortable, had big pockets and lasted forever. Now, They're tight around the thighs and crotch. The pockets of the new version can barely hold my Note 5. When I sit, these small front pockets press my phone into my hip bone. This becomes so painful that I can't sit with my phone in my pocket. I don't have this problem with my 569's from 2012. My advice is try them for yourself at a store. If you're like me and your favorite Levi's are 569's from years ago, these might disappoint you.
