Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Roku! I recently upgraded from the Roku 3 to the Roku Ultra, only because after getting Directv Now the older device seemed to be struggling. I'd used the Roku 3 for years and had no issues at all with it, so figured it was reasonable to go ahead and upgrade. I love the interface, and absolutely love the added features of volume control and tv power button. The only thing I would change is to be able to configure for yourself the shortcut buttons on the remote for Netflix, etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Vast Improvement over the Roku 4 Got this unit to replace a Roku 4, which was junk. It is a pretty good box and has nice features such as voice search and is very fast compared to my older Roku 3. I had no problem with the setup of this unit because I have already setup similar models. If I was a NewB, setup would have been a pain because it comes with few instructions other than how to connect the box to your TV (thus the 2 stars for setup.) Also, customer support for the Roku product line is a joke. I tried getting help with my Roku 4 and got no response from Roku tech support. I sent the 4 back and bought the Ultra.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Upgrade! I finally cut the cord and chose Roku as the platform for all my streaming. I use several Roku devices in my home as well as the RV and all are great performers. I realized quickly though I needed something to more powerful and capable to keep up with the demands my family expected from a cable replacement, I chose the Roku Ultra. For one, it’s future proof in supporting my move to 4K when I’m ready, plus having an Ethernet connection was the most desirable in order to ensure no WiFi hiccups distrupting viewing. The added sound quality of the Roku Ultra over the other models was a plus.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from so VERY Disappointed I've been an Roku owner since the first generation. I used that for a LONG time then upgraded to the Roku3 and was VERY happy with that upgrade. I recently decided to upgrade to an Ultra and was very happy with this decision until I tried to use Netflix....it just won't work, period stop. After doing some research this seems a all too common problem. Sadly there is no reliable fix that I have found. I'm hoping a channel/OS update in the next several weeks might solve this issue but until then the Ultra will collect dust (too late to return). FYI: Overall rating an poor value rating are directly related to Netflix NOT working.
