Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great transition jacket with style Purchased the Petite XL, I am 5'2" between a L and XL, typically I wear a L in missy size, but need to bump up to an XL in petite. My fit preference is a relaxed fit, the petite XL provides a well tailored looking relax fit. The overall fit is just about perfect! it does not bind anywhere, the drawstring waist lands at the waist. Love the stretch twill fabric, the twill is mid-weight but the stretch allows for freedom of movement at the shoulders. The style is on-trend, with a patina'd finish, looking like a well loved and worn jacket. The color is a bit lighter than shown on-line, but its not a deal breaker for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plumtastic! I love utility jackets. Unfortunately, they usually come in colors I can't wear, like army green, camouflage, or tan, all guaranteed to turn my cool complexion yellow. So when I saw the plum, I hit "add to cart" before I even had a chance to think! Oh my gosh- plum! How cool is that? And it's just as pretty in person! It's, well, plum. A soft plum that will be a perfect addition to my fall wardrobe! The jacket is much lighter-weight than I expected; I was hoping it would be exactly like my all-time fave, my navy Sonoma jacket from last year, soft and embroidery-free, with the drawstring on the outside, but it's not. This jacket is not quite as soft, it's a bit longer, and the drawstring is on the inside which is not as flattering or practical. But I still love it! What I don't love, however, is that the Lead Gray one that I ordered turned to tan before it arrived. I really wanted a gray utility jacket. Kohl's has offered many tan versions- give us a nice charcoal gray!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this season's utility jacket About three years ago I bought a Sonoma utility jacket that I love-- olive green, with nicely detailed pockets and drawstrings at the waist. I wanted to get another utility jacket from Sonoma the following two seasons, but the styling was always off: the fabric was stiff and tight, especially across the shoulders, and the fit was way too slim and long, even in petite sizing. I'm happy to say that the wait for a new jacket is over! This year's version of the utility jacket is MUCH better. The fabric is stretchy and has a nice weight, and the fit is slimming without being tight. It's not too long and I like that the collar looks stylish folded down or standing up. I bought this one in the plum color which is a beautiful dusty rose shade that is neutral enough to coordinate with most other items in my closet. I do wish this jacket had drawstrings at the waist, though I understand that drawstrings often get tangled on purse straps and can be a bit troublesome. Regarding sizing, I'm between a small/medium (size 6-8) and the small fit me well in this jacket. The sleeves are a bit long, since I'm close to petite sizing, but they look cute rolled up so it's not an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Store had a dusty plum - Beautiful! I bought a green/olive one last year. Was in the store and saw a dusty plum one. I bought it immediately and I love it! I tried on the XL and it is a bit big on me (width wise), but when I put on the L, it felt too short for me length wise and in the arms so stayed with the XL. I usually wear XL in shirts and this is loose and plenty of stretch room to move my shoulders (the biggest issue with buying jackets).
