Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy Love that bodice is lined and I don't have to wear a bra or something underneath the dress. Also love the length and that it's cotton. Haven't worn or washed this one yet, but got one last year and it washes well with minimal shrinkage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from classic lines, fun print Soft cotton knit with a pretty sea shell print makes a charming and comfortable summer sun dress. Easy to wear, washes well, (follow the directions!) and shakes out smooth. I purchased for me, but keep finding the dress on one of my daughters. I ordered a second dress for myself! Our houseful of females lean toward cotton knits and flowing skirts in the summer. This dress fits into everyone's style without difficulty. It does run just a little big in the bust, and the straps are just a little bit long. Easily fixed with a stitch or two. Love this dress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit I'm 5.6' and 157 lbs, average body, ordered a size M in the multi seashell color and it fits very nice. I also figured I don't have to wear bras under (and I'm not that young any more to generally consider that as an option) as the top part provides some support and it is lined. I got a decent discount so it was worth the money. Very satisfied. Nice summer dress, could be just a little bit longer maybe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute, But . . . This is the 2017 version of the popular Chap's sundress from last summer. I loved last year's navy pattern so much, I bought two of them! I had my fingers crossed that Chaps would bring the dress back this year in pretty new colors, but the new version is disappointing. While this dress will look darling on many, this is why it isn't working for me: First off, the material. It's a cute sea-inspired print on white. The orange is the most vibrant (bad for me), while the blue (good for me) takes a back seat. There are softer shades of yellow and light blue to fill in. The problem with the warmer colors is that the dress is a cool white, so while warmer skin tones will look good with the orange and yellows, the cool white background might not be flattering to them, and those of us with cool-toned skins don't fare so well with the warmer colors. There's also the problem with the white. One of the best features of last year's dress was that the top was lined, so the "girls" could safely go free-range. You also didn't need a slip; a pair of boy-cut shorts worked just fine on those hot summer days. Well, you can't do that with the white. Slips and bras are hot and hold in heat, and if we don't need to wear them for modesty (such as at work or church), then why bother? You'd think Chaps would know enough by now to run their material selections by me, but no. (I'm joking! Sort of.) A positive is that the back dress straps still cover your bra straps, so thank you for that. As for style, I love the new front lace-up, but the downside is the front piece is now two parts instead of a solid piece, so the patterns don't match up. Sad to say, what was supposed to be my new vacation dress is going back. As I said before, this dress will look great on many, I'm just not one of them.
