Rated 1 out of 5 by from Noritake Colorwave I love the style and colors of this pattern, but I would never buy it again because it chips so easily. You have to be very careful when putting it in a dishwasher that nothing is too close or you will have chips. I do not recommend this dishware.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cream colored glaze shows marks & I can't remove them! I have purchased serving pieces as well as 8 basic 4 piece sets. The solid green plates are great! But any pieces with the cream colored glaze in the middle are horrible and I can not use them fore guests. There is nothing I can use to remove the utensil marks. I have spent over $800.00 on my complete set with extra pieces from gifts. I would NEVER recommend this pattern as shown at the top. I wish I could trade tin the marred pieces in on the solid green ones since these do not show wear. Anyoneone that has this basic 4 piece set will agree that the marks from daily use will not come off and only get worse. See enclosed picture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Only One Flaw This is an excellent pattern for casual dining and everyday use. The color is easy on the eyes and does not grow old as many, more elaborate patterns do. Dish washing and microwaving have not adversely affected the china. It also is fairly durable, having taken its share of knock with little or no damage. HOWEVER, it is surprising and disappointing how easily the white surface scratches in normal use. Even using a steak knife to cut one's meat often leaves a very visible "scar."

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Dishes I love our set of Colorwave chocolate dishes. They have a nice feel to them and look great. We were given 12 place settings as a wedding present. The chocolate color is lighter on some of the dishes and darker on some of the others. It doesn't really bother me, but it is slightly noticeable when they are all stacked in the cupboard. Also, I really wanted a matching butter dish, but after purchasing it, I had to return it. It was so ugly! I would really like to see the butter dish have a small handle on the top to grab. Plus, it would probably help break up the plain oval look of the butter dish. Other colors aren't so bad for the Noritake butter dishes, but not the chocolate.
