Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cream colored glaze shows marks & I can't remove them! I have purchased serving pieces as well as 8 basic 4 piece sets. The solid green plates are great! But any pieces with the cream colored glaze in the middle are horrible and I can not use them fore guests. There is nothing I can use to remove the utensil marks. I have spent over $800.00 on my complete set with extra pieces from gifts. I would NEVER recommend this pattern as shown at the top. I wish I could trade tin the marred pieces in on the solid green ones since these do not show wear. Anyoneone that has this basic 4 piece set will agree that the marks from daily use will not come off and only get worse. See enclosed picture.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Chip Easily I have had these dishes for 2 years. We are a family of 6 and use them daily. All the pieces are getting little chips in them, and a little chip out of the blue which shows up as white where the blue chips off is really visible. I am really disappointed. I bought a huge amount of these dishes since we have a large extended family and wanted to use them for when large groups of relatives get together but now so many have chips. I don't think we are especially rough on them but you really have to handle them with lots of TLC which is not practical for everyday use with teens. I would not have bought them if I knew they chipped so easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How do you scratch them?????? Ok, the reviews that say they are having problems with scratches must scrub with diamonds or something. For me, I have had these dishes for several years, and have not had any damaged in any way, except from extreme abuse. They have survived moving 3 times using what little care under paid movers use. Some have even bounced off the floor a few times with no damage evident. In those 5 years, I have only had 1 plate chip, and that was from dropping it just right (or wrong) on a ceramic tile floor. These dishes are so durable, it was a surprise that it chipped. We use these day in and day out, with no special care (and moderate abuse) and would not buy any other brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Colorwave! I started buying color wave about 5 years ago. I ended up getting rid of my good china and I use color wave for every meal. I have a combination of chocolate and terra cotta, and I always get compliments! All pieces go right into the dishwasher. I have had a couple stubborn stains on a few salad plates, but otherwise they're very sturdy (no matter how my husband tends to bash them around on the granite countertop, we get very few casualties). Highly recommend color wave - it comes in so many gorgeous colors! Now I want other pieces - like a better selection of covered casserole dishes, and the same options in terra cotta as with chocolate for things like napkins and placements :)
