Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous strategy game for early age My 4 year old absolutely loves this game. I did have to explain the first few times how to make a square using one piece at a time, and to block the opponent. Now she can make her moves without assistance, and sometimes I lose to her even with my best efforts! She is learning to plan her moves, making sure to leave space for big, complex pieces. This is an excellent way for young children to learn to plan and strategize. The game lasts 10-15 minutes, perfect duration for this age. Sometimes I have to push the pieces in harder, but overall they fit in and store away easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Mom, My Boys Love It! My boys (4&6) recently received this game as a gift. They have always loved to play the dot and line game on paper when we go to restaurants. They love competing to make the most boxes, so this game was right up their alley. They love playing against each other manipulating the pieces to make the most squares to cover the board. They are very competitive and will giggle and laugh as they cover another space that their brother was hoping to grab. All the adults who have played against them have also enjoyed the game and the challenges it presents. The kids can win fair and square against the adults if they can out maneuver them. I would definitely recommended this product. They are really learning to think strategically and having a blast while doing so.
