Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the concept! I love the concept of this machine. I have been looking for a way to easily make espresso and have the option of k-cup coffee as well. Love that gourmia has it covered! I have been using the machine for about a week, and definitely glad I bought it. My only complaints are that 1) the espresso doesn't come out hot enough for me, 2) I can't find a single piece of information that denotes how many ounces each line stands for when selecting cup size. I love the frother that is built in. This has replaced THREE of my appliances! (clap, clap!!!!)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great concept but defective machine When I unpacked my "new" machine, it had water in the bag and coffee stains on the metal tray. I knew it has been used and returned but I set it up anyway to see if it worked. I made a cup of espresso and also used the Aeroccino--both worked like a charm. However, when I left the kitchen and returned, the entire water container had leaked out. I filled it once more to check it and sure enough, after a few hours, the water container was empty and all over my cabinet and floor. Bottom line, the machine was defective, had been returned to Kohl's and they shipped it out again. Not happy with Kohl's for not checking product over before restocking. The Gourmia is a great concept and I wish it had worked. Will be returning and marking it defective.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the concept I have been searching for the perfect coffee/espresso maker and this comes pretty close. I love th sleek design. A few specific things I do not like: 1. It is quite loud. Not the end of the world, but the first thing I noticed after using a variety of similar k-cup machines in the recent past. 2. It's slow. Good coffee needs a bit of time for sure.... but it does seem to taker a while. 3. I wish the water tank was bigger. Feel like I am constantly refilling it. Yes of course that is directly correlated with how much coffee I am making but I find it is a smaller tank that a lot of other similar machines. PLus, and perhaps more important, I wish there was a way it would tell you when the tank is low/empty. With the tank being in the back of the machine, it is not that easy to see. I am surprised there is not an "Add Water" alert on the screen. Overall, I am happy with this product though. Would love to see these improvememnts on a later version!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs Safeguards! Things I like: Brews hotter than my previous Kuerig. Small size fits under cabinet better. Ability to brew both K-cups and Nespresso pods. Frother is nice. Coffee is good. Energy saver. Things that need improvement: Safeguards! Machine will still brew if you accidentally don't engage the pod. I have had a whole cup of water all over my counter because it doesn't go through the normal channel. Will still brew and continues to try is water is low or empty in reservoir. When you stop to refill, it starts the brewing session all over. You either have to throw away the first cup or have a weak, overfilled, overflowed cup of coffee. The pods brew on their sides and leaves a lot of liquid in them.. When you open to put in a new one, it falls into a receptacle. I use recyclable K-cups to help the environment. Very messy. Need to raise the machine if you want a travel cup to fit. So, if you're like me, multi tasking and rushing around in the morning, the Keurig is a better choice., If you have the time to make sure everything is how it should be, and you like the ability to use two types of pods, go for it!
