Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Control This is the first Swagtron we tried to purchase from Kohls. I returned it and bought the better model due to the issue I describe below. Both Swagtrons had same issue...loose parts in plastic frame. I mistakingly took the first one apart and put the screws back into the battery housing. The screw vibrated back out and I voided the warranty by opening it up. Thankfully Kohls took it back. I bought this higher end model thinking it would be without issue. Unfortunately we were wrong. As soon as we took it out of the box you could hear loose screws in the body. What I know is that there were loose screws around the battery compartment and some were coming all the way out. What I'm speculating is that to certify the Swagtrons they did some refurbishment and the screw holes were stripped and are vibrating loose. Very annoying to hear the tumbling of a metal screw when riding a brand new hover board.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not very durable nor a consistently smooth ride We bit the bullet and bought the more expensive T1 for our son for Christmas. He loves it, and it is so much fun when it operates correctly. Sometimes it vibrates wildly, then rolls over and over uncontrollably until it crashes into something. This happened within the first week of owning it. My son was riding outside on the concrete when it began to roll over and over. It stopped after hitting a brick wall. The board was all beat up, scratched up, and chipped after this one incident. Also, after owning it for 1 week, my son ran into his friend's foot in the house. It hit his tennis shoe, and I heard a pop! My son, 9, began to cry. The plastic fender cracked! Just like that... The hoverboard was barely a week old, and it now looked weak and pathetic. I quickly came to the conclusion that the housing is not very durable/strong and that the self-balancing mechanism is not the most stable. My son rode a neighbor's Razor hoverboard recently and was impressed with the stability. There was no vibrating, jumping, or rolling of the board. He described a very smooth ride. Also, FYI, I did contact the company, and I was told that our problems were cosmetic and not covered under warranty. At this point, I reached out to Kohl's, and they exchanged it for a new one. It just arrived today. I'm hoping this is tougher and a smoother ride. Thank you Kohl's!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Son loves it! My son was given this hover board for Christmas. He is on this thing 4 hours a day at least. It only took him a day to get really good with (he is 9). The first day was ruff. He ran over my foot a couple times and hit me in the ankle. It hurt pretty bad but living in the North East in January makes it hard to ride outside.
