Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money I cut the cord early this year and realized I cut too much and at least needed ESPN to watch the NFL draft and some sports. I bought the Roku to get access to Sling TV. Set up was very easy. I bought the Premiere + because of the ethernet connection but didn't have time to run the wire in time for the draft. Fortunately, the Roku has 802.11AC to take full advantage of my AC router which is better than my Vizio TV which has I believe 802.11N. So far, no issues streaming hi def tv. I'm shocked how well it works and how great the picture is. With 5G, I may not have to use my ethernet cord after all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4k streaming is awesome! I had a Roku Ultra, for some reason it was not working properly even after Roku replaced it twice. But the Roku Premier + works perfectly! It streams 4k the way it should! It's awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Device I bought the Roku because it was so highly rated on Digital Trends and I wanted to find out what it could do compared to just using the apps on my new Samsung UHD tv, of which there are many apps available. If it didn't add any special capabilities to what I had already I would just return it to the store. What I found was that I love it. It is very easy to setup and use with all my apps listed on one page where I choose to have them. The best feature for me though is the wireless headset ability where I can listen to the tv without bothering my wife reading next to me. Many more good things too but in essence a really good user interface and smooth functioning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great with the proper settings Bought the Premiere+ to replace a Roku3 since we bought a 4k TV. At initial setup, I was getting the purple screen HDCP error even though scanning the TV thru the display menu on the Roku was returning all "OK", including HDCP2.2 authentication. Did all the standard troubleshooting tips to no avail. It turns out it was the UHD color setting in my Samsung TV that was causing the problem. Once this was corrected, the Premiere+ is working great! Why not just use the native apps in the TV? They're not as stable as the Roku. The TV would frequently display an expired server key with Hulu but I've had absolutely no stability issues with the Roku.
