Rated 5 out of 5 by from WELL DESIGNED, GREAT PRICE the American Tourister Burst 28" hardside spinner (style no. 78414-1041, SKU 55817980) and American Tourister Burst 24" hardside spinner (style no. 78413-1041, SKU 51145627) are overall well designed products. I was able to inspect in the store before buying, and both were available in more colors than shown online. the bright colors are nice for sighting at the baggage claim, but I opted for the matte black layered with varying bands of glossy black. the glossy bands are recessed on front and back, but any scuffs on these areas will likely be more noticeable over time. my primary concern when buying luggage is the overall dimensions, to prepare for the day when airlines start rigidly enforcing size limits, and the measurements listed on this website are not the same. by my measurements (rounded up) the 28" suitcase including wheels, handles and lock: 29"H x 12"W x 21"D, 9.6 lbs, so overall under the 62" standard restriction for checked baggage. I'm not sure why the website lists 63" overall, but I wouldn't have bought if that was the case. by my measurements the 24" suitcase including wheels, handles and lock: 26.25"H x 11"W x 17.75"D, 7.8 lbs, so overall dimensions of 55" vs 55.75" listed on the website. and the 24" suitcase can be sandwiched into the 28" suitcase, with a combined weight of 17.4 lbs. in terms of build, the two exterior handles are flexible rubber and are designed to lay flat and resist damage. the extendable pull handle locks at four different heights, up to 12" for the 28" suitcase, and up to 15.5" for the 24" suitcase, so both suitcases have the same total height of 40.75" when the handles are fully extended. for the 28" suitcase, the extendable pull handle takes up much less interior space than many other brands because the housing doesn't extend all the way to the bottom. the integrated TSA approved lock is a nice feature. the inside is finished with nice materials, and includes three zippered pouches. the wheels seem robust, but as one complaint, they do not always reposition smoothly when maneuvering in close quarters, but otherwise work well. another observation, the edges of these suitcases are rounded, so they are slightly less boxy than most. and I would prefer suitcases without an expansion zipper, which provide an extra 1.5"W of space held together by a strip of fabric, as this seems to be a possible weak point for damage, but it's difficult to find suitcases without this gimmick. this is my first purchase of American Tourister, so I cannot comment on durability yet, but overall these are well designed and well constructed suitcases for the price paid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The product is durable. It's just the size for today's travel, love the color, which is easily seen on baggage carousels! I wish the smaller piece was deeper, it's a little to small.
