Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome for hiking worth the $$$ I bought these shoes for a camping hiking trip, about 3 months ago and I love them. The hiking was pretty wet and muddy i was so happy my feet stayed dry. Im the person that get athlete's foot if my feet sit in wet socks. I wear them all the time now whenever I'm taking my dogs out for walks down by the river. Its worth the money to get a good hiking shoe that will keep my feet dry. Im thinking of getting another par for work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snowshoe running to all things winter Like all adidas outdoor shoes these run a little big so get them in your street shoe size for a perfect fit or maybe half a size bigger if you plan to wear SUPER heavy wool socks. The sole of the shoe is very stiff which is amazing for snowshoe running because they fit well in snowshoes without bending. Having a stiff sole also helps with really any snow running. Not to mention the tread on the bottom is very tacky and I almost never run in spikes in the winter because I can stick to almost everything. The lacing is wide enough that I don't have pain from the pressure of the laces on my metatarsals which is a huge plus because I have lots of scare tissue from a break a few years ago. Last but not least they are GTX and very water proof! I raced a 10k snowshoe race and a 100 mile snow run in Alaska in these shoes and I have to say these get a gold star for kicking butt!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A beefy shoe At the least, I was shopping for a comfortable, water-resistant day-hiking shoe. I have somewhat difficult feet to fit: I need a well-padded sole, a somewhat-narrow heel (preferably with a heel cup for stability), good arch support and plenty of room in the toe box. This is a tall order not every shoe can fill. I have a pair of $100+ hiking shoes that are great and two older pairs of New Balance walking shoes from Kohls that are good. While the bottoms of these were padded enough, the toe box was too narrow, the heel a bit too wide, and the shoe was very stiff and extremely clunky (i.e., too much shoe) all over. The size 10.5 was the right length for my 10.5-sized foot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and comfortable! I wanted a pair of shoes that were waterproof for the winter. It is too hard to walk in the snow and ice in my running shoes, and it is not comfortable to walk long distances in clunky boots. So, I opted for these because other styles of the Adidas hiking shoes received positive reviews, and I liked that this pair was made of Gore Tex. The shoes are amazing, and my feet stay dry.
