Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gold Toe "Manhattan" Socks have changed. I've worn Gold Toe "Manhattan" socks for years. They were great, but I just bought three new new pairs. They seemed to be only one half the thickness of the "Manhattan" socks I'm currently wearing. When my wife washed the first pair of new ones, they were covered with nylon fuzz that could not even be removed by a clothes shaver. Sorry, but these new ones are worse than any you can get in a thrift store. There was no problem returning them in exchange for the "Milan Comfort Top". These socks are also wafer thin. I'll give them a try, and if they don't work out, I'm off to the thrift store.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not up to Gold Toe standards! These socks snag on anything and are lint magnets. The material texture is stretchy and ill-fitting. Really bad, especially when GT Metropolitans set the standard for dress socks.
