Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed Been buying the Holiday Barbies since 1992. This by far has been the cheapest looking doll but at a premium price. With all the other dolls compared to this one.. It is almost like they ran out of ideas. The packaging cheapens the appearance even more. The pose is one of attitude, not of the grace and grandeur that used to be of this collection. I am for one not purchasing any more unless they return to what made them so beautiful, the detail, the hair, the jewelry..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointed I have every Holiday Barbie since their introduction in 1988 and I am so disappointed with this year's Barbie. It looks cheap and the packaging change is unflattering. I hope Mattel makes some necessary changes to next year's Barbie or my collection will end this year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a collector Holiday doll This year Mattel tried to create multiple Holiday collectible dolls by using the Peace, Love and Joy theme, but there's one more, Hope, because there are 4 dolls if you include the Exclusive K Mart version. The packaging, which is substandard for a collectible Barbie, says "trio of dolls". The dress on the doll has a cheap plastic bodice which does not go all around the doll. The hair is minimally styled, the nails not painted and the accessories jewelry is just a plain bracelet. I have purchased the Holiday series for my daughter since the first one in 1988 and she has all in their boxes expect the first. Collectible dolls need to be more outstanding than regular dolls in looks and packaging - these 2016 dolls do not meet that standard. The K Mart doll has red hair, but her eyes are brown! The "Hispanic" doll has light brown hair, tinted skin tone and BLUE eyes! There was a mix up at the factory on those two - but I guess that's what happens in foreign made products! I am greatly disappointed on 2016 Holiday Barbie and have read many other reviews stating the same issues. It's not worth the price - it's not a collectible standard and I hope Mattel reads these reviews and steps up the quality on the 2017 Holiday dolls or they will lose their collectors!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from UGH. I'm Sad Every year, I buy a Christmas Barbie Doll. Every year, i am overjoyed! This year however, I feel that Barbie took a downwards spiral. This doll is elegant, but the plastic bodice is what throws me off. It looks tacky,in my opinion, and doesn't follow the legacy of the other dolls.
