Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great toy for my almost two year old. This Thomas & Friends toy is super cute. My son is almost two years old, and really enjoys this train. I like how the train pieces are actually a puzzle that he must figure out in order for it to work. The set up for this toy was really easy, as all you need to do is insert the pull handle and it is ready to go. This toy will not work well on carpet, as it needs a hard surface in order for the train to roll off of the platform and onto the floor. Overall, it is a great toy for a toddler that allows them to use their problem solving and motor skills. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing I recieved this item free as a member of the Play, Rate, Review program in order to give my honest opinion about it. First thing's first, I was not in love with the size of this. Even for my soon to be two year old, he wasn't struck with excitement. Next issue is the fun factor; there is only TWO puzzles and a lever to pull with both puzzles having three pieces. My son lost interest in five minutes and there it sits now collecting dust. Not enough stimulation for a boy his age. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Durable low-tech fun My toddler literally squeeled when we opened this toy and could hardly wait for it to removed from the package. It doesn't seem too exciting to me, but she really likes it! She loves watching the trains roll off the ramp. I think she also likes the size of each puzzle piece, perfect for her 18 month old grasp. I don't think it will be too much longer before she can assemble the trains herself. It's nice that they can be mixed and matched AND no batteries or assembly required! Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple Toy That's Fun to Play With My 20 month old thinks this is a fun toy. He does not quite understand how to play with it the intended way, but he likes playing with the train puzzle pieces and train station separately. He thinks the puzzle pieces are fun to roll around. On the station, he likes to push and pull the handle. I am confident he will get the hang of it at some point. He laughs when I show him how to make a train roll away. I like that the pieces are big, and there's not too many pieces. The train puzzle pieces are easy to snap together. It was simple to snap the handle onto the station. I would definitely recommend this toy for toddlers who love Thomas the Train. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
