Rated 4 out of 5 by from This toy is a big hit with my 2 year old! I gifted this toy to my daughter weeks ago, and she still loves playing with it! I love the size of the palace and the pieces, because they are large enough to not be choking hazards for my daughter and her younger sister. Plus, "Princess Darla" is large enough not to get easily lost. My daughter is a bit young for some of the features, but she does love listening to all of the sounds and placing "Princess Darla" around the palace. I only wish this toy came with more characters. The product was provided to me by VTech in exchange for a review, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Dollhouse We've Ever Played With The product was provided by VTech so I could experience it with my family; however, the thoughts and opinions are all my own. I will be really honest, my 2 toddlers are in love with the castle. My littlest won't put down the princess and tries it out on everything in the house to see if it will talk. And my oldest loves using the stairs with her fingers and other dolls--and then having them slide down. They're also learning how the castle is put together and are proficient at taking it apart--AND putting it back together. I think that's amazing. Makes me really glad we got it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Parents: You will hate this toy. As noted by some other reviewers, the castle is a bit flimsy. Some of the pieces will not stay together. The worst part of this toy, however, are the little people that talk and sing... off-key by the way. The songs are terrible and some of the statements are not great. Princess Darla and Prince Hector are the worst. Would be much better if the characters had more positive, educational and empowering statements to share.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Falls apart easily, Issues need to be fixed! It's adorable and my daughter loves it. The characters are nice & chunky for her little hands & she loves the interaction. Here are the cons... 1) Putting it together stunk because there were so many stickers & the tiny diagram to follow was not very useful. I ended up looking at the picture on the box (everything is numbered on the diagram but the stickers are not) 2) The doors don't even stay on. They are cute & meant to be able to open & close in sync with each other. Nope. Might as well toss them because they fall off in two minutes. 3) The flags on top don't actually click into place & just sit on top so when played with those fall off. 4) The swing if you hit or squeeze the side just right pops off & so do the stairs. So you have to fix those repeatedly. IF they could fix those things I would give it 5 stars, super cute but the quality is lacking!
