Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy item and well made I really like the steps. they are pretty sturdy and seem well made. Our dog only weighs about 25 lbs so is not a big dog but it is certainly sturdy enough for our dog. I liked the fact that the step had sides to the stairs as it is not as frightening for the dog to go up so they aren't afraid of falling off the sides. The only negative is that, as it is so dark in color and the steps are dark too that it is difficult for the dog to actually see where the steps are so I remedied that by getting a roll of Glow in the Dark Duck tape and putting a strip on the edge of each step so stairs can be seen. Now it is perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money I love the looks of this product but when I took it out of the box, I immediately noticed the poor quality. The wood was not sanded, one of the plastic caps on the leg base immediately fell off and one of the latching mechanisms did not work correctly. I have a medium sized senior dog, well within the weight guidelines and I felt these stairs were too small for him. Definitely disappointed in this product as I really liked the design and color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Kitty Loves it! I bought this for my cat - he is about a year old and a bit smaller than your usual cat. He has no trouble jumping up on a 29" stool to reach the window sill, but I figured I'd get him one of these sets of steps as another option for getting up there. The steps are high enough to help him get to the stool, not the window sill, about a good foot short of the sill. He does use them, mostly when coming off the sill. I'm thinking of getting another set for when he jumps on the bed. Right now I mostly can hear him using his claws to climb up my quilt to get on the bed, tho I'm sure he can jump directly on the bed. Not sure why he chooses to get up that way. So a 2nd set of steps may be necessary so he doesn't rip any of my quilts. Great product & decent quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and funtional I am very pleased with this stepstool. I was picking my dog up everytime he wanted to get on the bed. He was afraid of the stairs at first and I had to use little treats to train him and after two times - he uses it at his leisure now. The wood color is almost like cherrywood and the stairs have like a thin felt on them. The stairs fold up to hide under the bed if desired.
