We like the way it toasts and we don't have to keep putting it back down to get the toast done enough for my husband, which was one reason we got rid of our other one. On the down side, the left side is giving us problems, not staying down..... have to force it to stay down which isn't a good thing. The cord comes out the back which is good, but there is a place along the top where it's too easy for crumbs to collect, between the slots and the edge of the toaster. It would be nice if this was flat instead. The crumb trays remove easily which is a plus.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design for a simple task My husband loves his toast, so the toaster has its own place on our countertop. This one is SO BIG, I hate it. It takes up so much room! Also, most of the bread bits miss the crumb tray and end up in the space between the bottom panel and the tray (and are impossible to get out!). The exterior is gray plastic, not metal, and is prone to finger prints and scratches. My toasters before this one had been the long type that accommodated larger slices of bread and I miss that feature. I find the browning to be uneven and it takes for-freakin'-ever to achieve any change in color on the bread, let alone "toast" it. I have been trying to like it since December and I hate to say it, but I am going to go back to my old toaster and give this one to a charity. Someone will get a good deal and be happy with it, I hope.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke in 3 months Bought this toaster in November 2016, it was broken by March 2017. I want to add that there are only 2 adults in the house so it is not abused. My husband tried to see if he could fix it, but the problem is in the circuit board and not just a loose wire. Paid too much for something that worked for 4 months

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 4 toasters and all failed within weeks!!!!!!!! I must praise Kohls for their customer service, after all they don't make the toasters just sell them. The first toaster I bought seemed great, so I bought another within days for my mom..Within a week my toaster would not stay down on one side, hmm, two days later my mom had the same problem..I contacted Oster and after a week they told me to return them to Kohls? I exchanged them for 2 more toasters and within a month both failed again with the same problem...I returned them for a refund as I knew Oster would be no help........I noticed that most of the reviews for this toaster are Promotional reviews, meaning people got them for free and asked to review them..probably within days of having them..I wonder if they still work, and if they were free probably just threw them out......So in summing up 1 toaster fail, maybe, 2 failing, not possible, 3 impossible, 4 failing??? must be junk
