Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice machine It is bigger than the picture let's on. However, it works and I like the design - we put it on automatic and within hours I felt like I could breath again. Just waiting so I can purchase a second one for my bedroom. The only time I hear the unit running is if it is on high which normally it does not stay there for long. Note: Three big dogs, have not noticed that it cut down on the hair, but it seems to have cut down on the dust and odor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Say Yes to Coway I like to shop old school--meaning that I hit the pavement so I can see and touch the product. I use the internet to educate, compare cost and review products. I was so happy when I saw Kohls' was carrying the Coway that I bought it online right then. Right in my price range with the online discount and earned K. cash. Due to respiratory/allergy issues I bought a Therapure purifier 2 years ago, wanted to bump up the product. A smoker lives above me too, but indoor air quality is a benefit to all. The Coway fits my needs for efficiency and quietness. I like that it has an Auto level and self-adjusts for pollution. When I cook in my nonvented oven it pops into high level, and the indicator lights is spot on. (This is the only real sounds it makes, when temporarily in high mode.) No drawbacks really, other than it is somewhat bigger than I envisioned in the picture, Also, the instructions indicate to remove wrappers when changing filters--- well the ones inside your new Coway are also wrapped. Just a heads up!
