Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok I have curly 3C hair. I don't use my flat iron often because it takes me an hour to do my hair. I bought a InStyler and I didn't find it easy to use though I liked the idea of a straightening brush. I decided to give Simply Straight a shot because it wasn't pricey and because it looked easier to use. Here's my experience: PROS- It is easy to use. I can comb my hair "straight" in about half the time (30 min) without really worrying about burning myself. CONS- It doesn't leave my hair silky straight- instead it leaves it frizzy straight. I touch it up afterwards with my regular flat iron to get it from frizzy straight to silky straight. I pull out about 4 teeth of the brush at every use. I use superglue to carefully glue the teeth back into the straightening brush but I'm getting tired of doing this... OVERALL- I don't recommend Simply Straight for curly hair because it will tangle easily in the brush and pull out the teeth. It probably works best on wavy hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really does work! I love it when my thin naturally curly hair is straight, but don't like the time if takes to do it. I bought this simply to see if it would allow me the look I want quickly. It does work! I wash my hair every other day. When wet, I simply add a curling cream and let it air dry, but on the second day I have to do something with it. This is as easy as brushing (which I never do!). My hair doesn't ever tangle, so this brush just glides through leaving straight hair instead of kinky or frizzy hair. simple and easy and takes about 5 minutes. I do use a heat protector and touch up the ends with a wide curling iron, but it is a good product that makes an arduous task easy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Red tips come off and bristles bent Bought this for my granddaughter who has long, very thick hair. After one use, the tips covering the bristles began coming off and some of them actually broke off. The bristles that weren't covered with tips began bending. I returned the brush and did not purchase another from this maker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product Very easy to use. It straightness my hair with ease. Only a few minutes. the only thing wrong is the weight. I wish it was not quite so heavy. however, it works well and is quick compared to flat irons. would recommend
