Rated 1 out of 5 by from New formula is terrible! I have used this masque for years with much success--always a very reliable go-to product. The new formula turns my skin red and makes me break out--just doesn't do anything to improve the appearance of my skin at all. I also heard that the new version has some form of gluten in it which is something I now need to avoid in all of my skincare products. I have used this twice and now need to throw away a brand-new product--very disappointing. So hoping Dermalogica will consider bringing the original formula back--I really don't know what other masque to use as a replacement at this point!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what it was Dermalogica, I am a 67 year old woman who has used your Skin Hydrating Masque for years. It made my skin feel young, and made me smile a lot. And then, you changed it. At first I thought someone put the wrong stuff in the tube, but I came to find out that it was a new formulation (with no warning to us). It did awful things to my skin, did not really hydrate, and I broke out....at 67 and not because it made me young. Why did you mess with an excellent product? It reminds me of when a large corporation decides to fix what isn't broken. Please, please, bring back what worked. I have read the other reviews, and women of all ages have complained that you messed up a good thing. Let me know when you decide to give us back what we loved.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back the old oil free formula The old oil free formula used to be my holy grail item. I used it almost on alternate days and my oily sensitive skin benefited a lot from it. Then came along the newer formula which is such a horrible one. After using 2 tubes (because I waited this long to get my skin adjusted to the new formula), I found nothing but more milia seeds on my forehead. Even though with facial at authorised Dermalogica's beautician (Aster Spring), it does no help. The new formula does not only smells funny, but it leave an oily film after wash. It is not refreshing and hydrating at all!! PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA OR AT LEAST HAVE BOTH FORMULAS BACK ON THE SHELVES!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I like your old stuff better than your new stuff! I'm giving the new version of this ONCE fabulous product 0 stars (I had to give it one star though in order to complete my review). I started using Dermalogica products 10 years ago and found the old version of the skin hydrating mask just delightful. Light, cooling, soothing and, as the name would suggest, hydrating. It was one of very few products that was effective on my somewhat sensitive skin, However I am entirely disenchanted with the new release - have used it three times and thrown it away. My skin broke out in response to this and I am really disappointed that a once brilliant product, that formed a staple of my skin care regime, is now unavailable. Let me know if you decide to re-release the old recipe. Not interested in this product anymore otherwise.
