Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not impressed The way this band has to charge is a joke. Waste of money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good First Try I am a huge UA fan. I am almost always pleased with the quality of their clothes and when I am not their customer service and returns have been more than helpful. I was excited to see they had come out with a fitness tracker. At first glance it is a pretty good once overall, although I don't have any other trackers to compare it too. I did have issues getting it to connect to my iPhone, but after messing around with the settings and doing some force restarts I got it to connect. I love the syncing with the UA record app. Its pretty cool how it tracks your steps and then sends them to the app for the status of that goal. To that point the step counter seems pretty accurate. Also the notifications are pretty cool too. Calendar, phone, and text messages all show on the screen. I must say the Bluetooth range in the band is pretty outstanding as I kept my phone at my desk, and went down a floor and I was still able to receive text and phone notifications. The music switching is pretty nifty too on the band, although I could only get it to work with the native iPhone music app. There is also a timer and stopwatch feature. The alarm clock is great too as now I can wake up without getting anyone else up since the band vibrates on your wrist when the alarm goes off. The heart rate monitor was something I wanted in a band. UA is up front about it, which I like, that it will only accurately measure resting heart rate. I have mixed feelings about how well this works. Sometimes it seems pretty accurate, but other times its completely off yet I took the readings in the same seated position. One time it was around 70 which was right at that point, then I checked later in the day in the same position and at rest and it registered around 120 which was no where near correct. The other thing that is annoying sometimes is that it takes forever to get a reading and in the mean time the screen shuts off and you turn it back on and it starts over. I had to keep tapping the screen so it would stay on until the heart beats registered. Maybe some of the shortcomings will be addressed in software updates. My final impressions of the band are pretty good, since I have nothing else to compare it too. I do believe the price is a little high though as there might be better or at least equal options that are cheaper. I look forward to seeing what they can do with this band in the future with software updates, or newer models.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It was fine, but... I bought UA Band for 2-3weeks already. I have small wrists so the band is not fit me at all because the screen is pretty big, 1cm gap both side. Battery: Just 3days I'm thinking about return the product :/

Rated 4 out of 5 by from amazing product works really well, tracks my sleep, activity and heart rate fairly accurately. when i play sports i don't wear the band, but the under armour record app makes it easy to log my practices. it does come off rather easy and can be uncomfortable when bending the wrist. i haven't worn in the shower or near any water but it withstands splashes of water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it When I ordered mine I didn't know what exactly I was getting. I read other reviews that were not good but I bought it anyway! I love it it tells time just wish it had the date on it and better accuracy of steps. It works great. It is SUPER COMFORTABLE I would recommend this to anyone who is sporty!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product has an armband that does not last. Bought this for my son to take on trip o a theme park. It flew off his arm on the first roller coaster. Not very well made. We were unable to get it back. Also do not like how he pie options show. Very disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product, could be better I've had my UA Band for about a month now. The comfort is fantastic. I'm not use to sleeping with a watch on, but had no issues wearing this when I go to bed. Most of the time I forget I'm wearing it, just because it is so comfortable. The durability has been great so far. No issues, like the other posters with the clasp. Battery life is still about 4 days; but charging only takes about half an hour or so. So I charge it when I'm getting ready for work in the morning, or at dinner time. I've worn it when I'm doing yard work, carrying heavy stones for the garden I'm currently building. Worn it playing road hockey with my kids. Never had an issue with it falling off or getting damaged. Lots of opportunities for improvement. Since UA also owns Myfitnesspal, it would be nice to see how much of a caloric deficit I am in on my watch. It tells me fine how many calories I have burned in a day, but I would like to be able to see instantly on my watch if I'm in a deficit or not. I know the calorie counter resets, but honestly I don't know when. I'm assuming when I'm asleep, but I'm not sure. The charging cord has to be longer. Right now I can only charge it on my laptop because if I plug it into a USB outlet in my wall the watch won't stay connected to the cord as it dangles in mid air. Obviously some kind of waterproof band would be nice. I quite enjoy swimming, and would like to be able to wear it in the pool to get a more accurate calorie burn. Heart rate seems to be accurate. I checked it against my girlfriend who is a nurse, and the band and my gf both got similar numbers on the heart rate. Step counting I believe is accurate. But honestly haven't gone to too much trouble yet to see how accurate it is. As of right now you can only control your music with it if you are an apple music subscriber. I would like to see an update that allows me to control the music on my iPhone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed I wanted something that counts my steps more accurately than my phone (I don't constantly have my phone with me) and I was interested in its sleep tracking abilities. Some cool features that I really enjoy are the ability to read my texts on my watch so I know if they're important while I'm at work, and I really love how it tracks my workout time and will tell me how many calories I burned.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great to Start I had no issues with my UA Band for the first two months or so until a few days ago when the UA Band no longer sync's to my phone despite all troubleshooting efforts. It's essentially a digital watch now. I can see my steps and sleep but there is no way to track it with the exception of writing it all down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not bad I've had this activity tracker for a few weeks now and like. I bought for both the step counter and sleep tracker.I need to research and figure out how but apparently it tracks the quality of sleep?? I want to see that. Also like that I can sync to phone (Galaxy S6). A plus, I don't miss texts anymore.Okay the battery last for 2 days give or take but I don't mind that.Have a small wrist so was pleased they included a smaller band. on the down side, it doesn't fit right.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Step counting isn't accurate Overall I'm a huge fan of the UA band but lately it isn't counting the steps and it became even more apparent. I went for 2 mile walk and it only counted 156 steps while going 0.07 miles. Is there any way to recalibrate the band to solve this problem? Thanks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit dissapointing :( I need to start this off by saying I love UA. I've never worn wearable fitness technology before but when I saw that UA debuted this band I knew I was going to break the ice and buy it. I have a small wrist and it's a bit large (even with the smaller strap). Oh well. The first night I had it the orientation of the screen switched upside down on me without me changing anything on the app. And then inexplicably it switched back a few minutes later. I wore it all day the second day I had it and it was fine but then right before working out with it (for the first time) it flipped again. It was irritating right before a work out and again I hadn't touched anything on the app (it in fact showed that I had the orientation set the way I wanted it but that wasn't the case according to the actual band). I contacted a rep through live chat and they suggested I reset my phone which worked but that still leaves me feeling like there is a problem. Why did it suddenly flip? Anyway, I expect high standards from UA which they always pull through with but this is disappointing! Maybe if it wasn't $180 I could deal but...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Boys love it My 18 and 20 year old boys love the bands. They've been wanting them for a while. They pretty much forgot about opening all of their other gifts after opening the UA band.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek enough for men. Bought for my husband as a gift. He is really into it. It has a lot more functions on the band itself than my fitbit does. I may consider switching over.
