Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Grinder Ever! I purchased this grinder three months ago. At first I was not happy about it. It did not work as well as I thought it should. Then it stopped working. I called KitchenAid and they sent me a brand new one to replace it. Now I am extremely happy. It works exactly as it should. It is very easy to clean and grinds the coffee exactly the way I like it. I have had many grinders before finding this one and they were all lacking in one way or another most being extremely hard to clean or overheating all the time. I love my KitchenAid grinder! Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful design and grind This grinder has great variability when it comes to grind size. It is really pretty to look at! And it cleans so easily; the glass jar really makes a difference. Only con that I can think of is it is loud, but all burr grinders I have ever had were loud. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice surprise I switched to a pour over style of coffee, and experimented with a fresh grind. The adjustment is easy, just turn the dial, and it consistently burr grinds perfectly. It is fairly air tight, you can fill the top bowl with beans, and I use a scale to weigh mine out of the bottom. If I grind too much today, the excess sits and waits for the next time. The grind looks like it's effervescent when the hot water is added. No regrets, it's doing a fantastic job these last few months. Hey, and it's a beautiful and functional piece that sits on the counter. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No replacement parts?!?! Not a big deal really, my Grind Jar fell into the floor the other day and broke. Its great that its made of glass because of the anti-static qualities compared to plastic. But when it breaks, the machine will be ugly on the bench and the function will also suffer when using another container to catch the coffee coming out ground. My machine is 6 years old and I've had no other problems with it, solid! Too bad that Kitchen Aid don't support their products for longer period of time. It's like Toyota would stop making parts for the MKII Prius when it went out of production. Seriously bad, will never buy Kitchen Aid products again!
