Rated 2 out of 5 by from Is this thing right??? This product is easy to use. Great, I can get a temperature quick and easy with the most nimble and unwilling of babies and toddlers. The problem starts when you have no idea if the temperature is accurate. We have tested on ourselves and the kids and it seems that our body temperatures will always vary from minute to minute. We decided that it will give an estimate of temperature. Wait, I don't want an estimate, I need the accurate temperature. Don't buy when you want to put your child's "safety 1st".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is wonderful! This product is wonderful for grandparents as well as parents. When you have a child feeling bad you don't want to be guessing at their temperature. With this you don't have to.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not accurate Easy to use but not accurate. Checked temp of newborn and it said she had a fever rechecked 5 seconds later and it said no fever. Scary for first time parent. Need something I can believe the first time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this thermometer I love this thermometer because I have red the manual and understand how to get an accurate reading with it. you have to do the following: 1. Wait at least 1 minute for the sensor to cool off from the last reading. 2. Hold the sensor 0.50" +-.25" perpendicularly to the center of the persons forehead (the closer to .5" the more accurate the reading will be). 3. Do not move the sensor or the surface who's temperature is being measured during reading process. If you can do these things you will love this thermometer. I use it on my newborn and it has helped me keep his temperature close to 98.6 degrees which results in him being way less fussy than he would be with his body temperature a degree hotter or a degree cooler.
