Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not waste your money The suction function stopped working after about 6 cleanings. I had to drive 40 miles to an authorized service person who told me the soap was dried and clogged and he charged me $49 to fix. Bissell kindly sent me a couple of soap containers to make up for this. But, after barely two more cleanings WITH NO SOAP AT ALL the suction ceased to work again. Bissell then sent me a new machine, but the suction function NEVER worked after follownig all the instructions carefully.. It cleaned okay, but I had to soak up all the dirty water with a roll of paper towels each time. No more Bissell for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly designed I had my old Bissell for what seems lile forever when the motor finally gave out. Probably 8-10 years or so. Anyway, bought this new one, the first use was fantastic. I was so happy with the results on my couch and carpet. We only have one room with carpet and that's where the kids prefer to play. Basically I only use it for spot cleaning. Well, we have had it 4 months or so and the large brush belt has snapped! Why did that happen? I can tell you why... there isn't a "sealed" wall between the belts and the area that picks up water/debris so... you open up the (nearly impossible to open( belt "access" door and out comes caked on dirt, fur, a broken belt (probably from the debris being packed in there), and the metal part for the belt to go on is already corroded! I'm so upset with this purchase! No where in the cleaning instructions does it say anything about checking the belt compartment for debris. Debris should NOT She able to get into the inner workings or mechanics of the machine what so ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Carpet Cleaner Cleans up cat hair on carpets great. Machine is user friendly. It's obvious how the parts are installed, removed and cleaned. Very easy to use and feels lighter than most machines I've used. Convient and easy to pick up and move to another room or up stairs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Belts won't stay on Belt broke so I ordered all 3 new belts. This thing is impossible to work on. The video shows how simple it's to replace the belts. Not so fast, you can't just slip the belt over the rollers after sliding them down the rods. I replaced the short belt that broke with a new one I ordered. It won't stay on now when being used with the rollers running. Terrible design, no way to tension the belts. Why not just put teeth gears on the bottom of the rollers to make them spin in opposite directions instead of a belt?
