Rated 2 out of 5 by from very disappointed with the change When ordering these pants this year, I noticed that the fabric content had changed slightly; spandex was added to the mix. I have other cotton bottoms with some spandex and didn't think this should affect the pants. I don't know if that fact is to blame, but these pants are awful compared to last year's. My son refused to have them on for more than a few seconds when he tried them on - he hated the way the fabric felt. He is not fussy about clothes. The pants are not soft at all; they used to feel very soft. There is also an odor associated with them. In addition, the legs are cut much narrower than in the past. Kohl's: Please bring back last year's version!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality for price I have bought these pants in both khaki and black for my boys in almost every size throughout the years. They are a good value for the price. Khaki for dress up and black for concerts, and most recently black to be used as a work uniform. My only complaint is I often buy multiples of the same size and quite often they fit differently. This time one fits and the other is incredibly tight around the waist, despite being the same size. Length also varies greatly. Makes shopping without your children difficult.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the same I would not have thought that 2% spandex would have made that much a difference in how the pants fit, but my son also did not like the new fit/feel of these pants and I had to return. Thought I had a 'go to' style and brand for him, but apparently need to now look for another.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Chaps - what are you doing? Wrinkles terribly! Schools that have uniforms have rules about appearance and who wants to iron kids pants? Bought Chaps last year - no issues. Leg seams not straight - had to return 3 pairs that the leg seam came around to the front of the pant! I kept 4 as we live in Phx and he only wears them for a couple months, but no way would I keep these if he had to wear them longer. He is hard to fit and these fit, but at a big cost to me. Just awful pants. Quality control, people! Chaps should know better! Won't even try them next year!
