Rated 5 out of 5 by from MDR XB400 vs MDR XB 400 you might wondering what to buy XB 400 or the XB 450......400 is a good pair...it gives out good bass but a little muddy (plug it to any thing it'll give out bass) but the 450 is a little bit different when you plug the 450 into your pc it would not preform well nut when you plug it to an ipod or a smart device it's great solid bass.......it looks good too....but i think 400 is more strong .......i live in a humid climate so it sweats a lot so 400's fake leather came apart but I think the same thing wouldn't happen to the 450........and on the internet some guy said there was a MDRXB450BV but i couldn't find it anyware

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome!! Did a ton of research and the freq response is off the charts for the price point. You will want to learn how to EQ whatever your source is because the bass can be intense. Assuming you can adjust your EQ, you can dial in some of the richest sound you could ask for. I use the FLAT preset for my iphone and these are wonderful with all types of music from acoustic to classic rock to rap, hip hop and dance. Call quality through the mic is solid, and the impedance matches stock iphone buds, so battery life and power draw is a non issue. I can listen all day at work and still head home with 30% charge left on my phone. Cant go wrong especially for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best price/sound quality ratio I'm not a fan of headphones. I appreciate hi-fi sound and i have a 6000 USD sound system at home. I went to a sony store with a friend and he told me about these headphones. I tried them and they were great. I looked and tried a bose 500 USD ones at another store and i couldn't believe that these plastic marvels could sound so good. I bought them and, even though they are not the most comfortable headphones outhere, even if it's made completly out of plastic, even if the cord is nor thick at all to prevent damage, they sound AMAZINGLY good. Strong basses, clear mids and highs. Noise cancelation is okay. Yes, there are better headphones out there... but not at this price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for grandson with ear infection problems We have been searching for over the ear headphones for my 13yo grandson who has problems with ear infections and cannot wear ear buds. These work perfectly for him. The sound is clear and crisp. The only thing he complains about is that his neck gets hot if he has to wear them around his neck for too long.
