Rated 5 out of 5 by from Press Perfect First of all, this is a beautiful piece of cookware. I have used it for both sandwiches and burgers. The handle covers are awesome, and add to the ease of use. I've found it easy to clean off messes like melted cheese and the carmelization from making burgers by using my dishwashing brush in a gentle sweeping motion along the grooves. Preheating the press is easy if you fit it in the grooves. I got perfect lines every time. After washing and drying, I season with grapeseed oil and a pastry brush; wiping the excess with a clean towel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Achieve healthy meals with this pan! Love the rich color of the Empire Red Panini Grill and Press! Especially love the silicone pan handle mitts-what a plus! So far, I've made delicious three cheese grilled cheese sandwiches(twice) that my husband loved! I've grilled bacon to a healthy crisp-it didn't soak in bacon grease, making this a healthier meal. I've also grilled boneless chicken strips and portobello mushrooms for delicious, seared salad toppers! The color goes great with my KitchenAid Mixer. I love KitchenAid products! Pan cleans great! Love

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My "go to" addition. I have used my KitchenAid® Grill and Panini Press to make everything from delicious cheese burgers, chicken breasts, paninis and stuffed french toast. Each time I use it I'm impressed on how evenly it cooks the food & if I put hot water in it immediately after use it is very easy to clean. It is a GREAT cook addition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!!!! I received my panini press and was so excited. My first impression was how beautiful the Empire Red panini press looked. That may seem funny too some but looks really do matter when it comes to cookware. The first items I made were sun dried tomato and bsil pesto panini with grilled chicken. They turned out wonderful. The grill marks were perfect. I made them without adding anything to the pan to keep them from sticking and they came out perfect. No sticking at all. I decided to put it to a real test for my next sandwich. On my old cast iron grill pan everything stuck but nothing was worse than when I used my homemade bread. It never turned out whether I used the griddle or grill pan side. Well this pan changed it all. My husband wanted a grilled cheese to go with his bowl of soup so I used this pan with the press also. The sandwich came out amazing just as the first ones on naan. It was pressed nicely and never stuck; not even a little bit. Some cheese came out but it wiped right up. I'm really impressed with this pan. I'm so glad I have it and will use it often. I'm thinking about grilling chicken in it next instead of outside on the grill. It's only 28 degrees here today. Oh and the silicon handle covers worked really well. You can put them in and touch the pan handles with no trouble. It's an all around great buy. It would make a really nice present for someone that loves to cook. I have a few picture to post so I hope they look as good and the real thing did. I only had the camera on my phone.
