Rated 5 out of 5 by from Harrison Wash 501 CT Love I'm over the moon with the fit and finish of these jeans! I wear a 31 x 30, and these fit perfectly, roomy in the thigh and tapered at the bottom. In recent years, I had stopped wearing 501s in favor of the slim fit and leg opening of 511s (still a classy choice). I missed the button fly of 501s and am so happy to be back in 501s, thanks to the designers of the 501 CT fit. It's like being home again. The color and details of these remind me of LVC 1947 501s, especially the dark hue, buttons, and wide watch pocket. Thank you, Levi's, for listening to people who live and love in their 501s!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Denim I have never owned a pair of 501s before, but these are great. I usually buy 511s and wear a 32 or 31 waist depending on the cut, and 31 in the 513s. But with these (501ct), I ordered 30x32 and 29x32 since everyone was saying they were running big. I could have kept the 30, but the 29 fit more to my liking. I do like the slim fit. The waist is a little snug on the 29, but the hip and thigh areas are comfy. I'm 5'10, 165 lbs and have cyclist thighs. I've been wearing them for a couple of weeks now and the waist has stretched out enough to be not as snug as it was when I first put them on. The denim is pretty thick, more so than most, but I'm assuming that's the "classic" 501 composition. Overall, these are really good jeans. I like them a lot. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jeans Admittedly, the only pants I wear are 501s. But fell in love with 501CTs - same fit, but with a tapered leg - a decidedly modern look with both dress and causal shoes. Highly recommented.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These Run Very Large! Well, it's a good thing Levis is offering free returns and shipping on these because it took me three tries to get a pair that fits. The Bristol Rigid is a nice dark rinse wash but no washed jean should run two sizes large in the waist (these aren't shrink to fit). My first order of a size 32" waist measured 34". I guess I could have gotten away with the size 31" if I was going to wash/dry them but I'm not going to be putting these in the dryer so those also got returned. The size 30" I bought measured 32" in the waist - which is my true size and are the pair I'm keeping. This pair actually fits pretty slim, more like a slimmer pair of 505's. I would say if you want them to fit more like 501's then only go one size down from your true waist size.
