Rated 3 out of 5 by from The chair is comfortable but after a year.... Things are beginning to break! I am not a "hard use" sitter, but I do use it five days a week for 8 hours. It is comfortable and I do feel like it helps with my back issues. But the castor wheels are always locked, and the most recent issue I have is that the metal bar in front to hold the ball in place broke. Right above where the nut attaches the bar to the chair. I wouldn't mind so much, but I cannot find a replacement part. As a result my ball tends to try to roll out of the chair. Other than the parts holding up, I have enjoyed this chair very much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Core Strength Posture My interest in the balanceball chair began with the knowledge that core strength is all about posture. So, I purchased my ball chair for my home office. Sitting on the ball chair encourages me to sit up and take notice of my posture at all times. Whenever I tire of sitting up straight in my chair, I do small bounces up and down to stimulate the immune system. The Desktop Guide book that comes with the chair has some very beneficial stretches and movements. I like that the chair is lightweight, and that the ball can be removed to do a workout and then be replaced back in the chair out of the way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Helped my sore back and shoulders! I bought this chair to use as my main desk chair since  I started working from home. It is very comfortable and a big improvement over the chair I used at the office. It is also fun to "bounce" while I am on hold or "thinking". It seems to remind me to move around during the day instead of staying in one place.  The ball is smaller than my exercise ball (which is 65 cm), so I don't remove it for exercise.  I do use the book it came with to do  exercises with the ball in the frame. This is a  healthy chair, and much better for you than  a normal desk chair. I am very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2nd Chair Purchased - Wonderful for Office Chair is sturdy and easy to assemble. Putting hand on to the chair back makes it easier to sit down. Just the right height for a 5'3" or a 5'8" person. Purchased cover and instructions explaining to put line on the wall helps you to properly inflate the ball. It is easy to lock a wheel accidentally. Chair slides under desk easily. Easy to roll chair where you need it to go while seated. Change in posture and balancing on ball has helped with lower back and nerve pain in legs from sitting too long for work. Would have preferred floor pump to make it easier to put pin in after filling ball. Using hand pump, and using pin is a two person job.
