Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't be fooled by the pictures The quality of the chair itself seems to be good but very disappointed with the ball size. The pictures all show a full size ball, the ball that comes with this chair barely stays in the frame when you sit on it because it is so small. It claims someone up to 5'11" can use it, that will only be possible if your legs are outstretched. I am 5'6" and barely sit in it correctly. Thankfully I have a balance ball that is the correct size that I am able to put in the frame so I can at least use it, the cute little black ball sits in my closet (might give it to my toddler niece as a toy)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Core Strength Posture My interest in the balanceball chair began with the knowledge that core strength is all about posture. So, I purchased my ball chair for my home office. Sitting on the ball chair encourages me to sit up and take notice of my posture at all times. Whenever I tire of sitting up straight in my chair, I do small bounces up and down to stimulate the immune system. The Desktop Guide book that comes with the chair has some very beneficial stretches and movements. I like that the chair is lightweight, and that the ball can be removed to do a workout and then be replaced back in the chair out of the way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Helped my sore back and shoulders! I bought this chair to use as my main desk chair since  I started working from home. It is very comfortable and a big improvement over the chair I used at the office. It is also fun to "bounce" while I am on hold or "thinking". It seems to remind me to move around during the day instead of staying in one place.  The ball is smaller than my exercise ball (which is 65 cm), so I don't remove it for exercise.  I do use the book it came with to do  exercises with the ball in the frame. This is a  healthy chair, and much better for you than  a normal desk chair. I am very happy with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great comfort but needs redesign for retaining bar We are office chair snobs, sometimes bringing our own chair at our cost to the office, sometimes snatching recently departed employees' chairs that were in better shape. The office people never understand how important a good chair is for happy, productive employees. Until now. We purchased 3 of these chairs about a year ago for our office and absolutely love them, except for the (1) wheels and (2) retaining bar. The wheels lock up unintentionally so we had to wire the little "brake" in the up position, but we often need to readjust. No big deal. But, the bars broke on 3 occasions although we are well under the weight limit and inflate them properly. I designed a cover that attaches the ball to the supporting back, and that finally did the trick after trying numerous sashes and scarves! See photo.
