Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like sleeping on a pillow top mattress Bought one for my daughter as a gift. She loved it and said it was really comfortable, like sleeping on a pillow top mattress. I bought one for my bed and I agree with her. If your looking for a mattress pad with thickness this is the one to buy. The only draw back is when you wash it, it seems to hold the water so I had to squeeze the water out before putting it in the dryer. Dry it on a cycle that is not HOT, I did and in a couple of places the material on the bottom that goes around the mattress was a bit sticky as if it melted slightly. The next time I will dry it on a cycle that is not as hot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless I hate having to deal with my mattress protector, as it's such a pain to deal with. Liquids go right through it as if it's nothing (even though it claims to be waterproof), and then when I have to wash it, the lining sticks to itself so badly that it takes forever to stretch it back onto the bed. Another reviewer said their lining melted in the dryer, and I suppose that's what happened to mine, even though I followed the instructions for washing and drying to the letter. This thing costs WAY too much for what it actually does. Don't bother buying it. I'm going to try to get my money back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from melts in dryer My son loved it for about 3 days. Then it needed to be washed. We followed the directions on the tag...and it melted parts of the waterproof backing so that it is no longer water proof. We will have to return this pad and are now looking for one that will not have this problem. I did read where others had this issue, but put mine on the lowest setting and there was plenty of room to tumble, so I didn't think it was an issue. I suggest that anyone who buys this should wash it right away to make sure it won't have any issues in their washer or dryer before the warranty expires. It would probably be best to hang dry rather than put it in the dryer...although it is really thick and will take a while to dry. The tag says it is made in China, in case you were curious. Good luck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Water is still left in pad after washing. Feels so great to sleep on, fits my queen bed perfectly. Only complaint is that when you wash it water gets between the waterproof lining and the quilted top and you can't get the water spun out in the spin cycle. I took mine to laundry mat, used the double load washer and when I removed the pad it was full of water. I ran it through again and the same thing. The attendant put it in a mega load washer and when done, still had dripping water when removed. We wrung most of the water out by hand and it still took about 2 hours to dry. Other than that the pad is great.
