Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth It The screen is extremely dim and it is very hard to read. and the font is small which even makes it that much harder to discern or see the vital statistics. It wouldn't connect to my Phone no matter what and never could receive any notifications (calls or texts) tried everything but nothing worked. I have Fitbit Blaze and that is so much better, lighter, very bright screen you can read in bright sun light. I highly recommend the Blaze but not the surge

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a Garmin I bought this thinking I could do Triathlon training. Turns out the Surge is not really waterproof. Only water resistant. You cannot swim with this watch on or even take a shower. Why tout it as a performance watch when really it has this weakness. Another problem is I can't view the watch during my spin cycle classes. If you want to monitor your heart rate while spinning you have to let go of the handle bars and turn your wrist to view the HR rate. I am seriously thinking of returning this watch and getting a Garmin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just OK I've had mine since they first released it. They really need to come up with a better charging system. The connection is open on the back so sweat and dirt get into it easily. They couldn't put a cover over it? Plus when I connected it to charge the other night it did not charge because the connection must be a little loose. Battery life is terrible. It last any where from 1 day to three days. Oh, and my biggest complaint, it very seldom syncs with my Nexus 6P phone. It went 19 days with out syncing once, and it is on auto sync and I always have my phone with me. I had an iPhone before and never had a problem with it syncing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this product The band will break, it's only a matter of if it will break during the first 12 months, most do. If not, and it breaks after 1 year, you have a device that is still working but is unusable because the band can not be repaired or replaced. Fitbit will only offer you a small discount on a new Fitbit Surge which is like throwing good money after bad for a flawed product. Buyer beware! The reviews you see are for people who just recently purchased...
