Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I've had a Jawbone Up, I have a Fitbit One, but I just had to get the Surge. It is amazing. You don't have to tell your phone when your going to sleep and wake it up ..... once I forgot to tell the app I was awake and I slept for 356 hours. The Surge knows when you wake up and go to sleep automatically. The steps and mileage is pretty accurate. I usually use an elliptical at the gym and it has a setting for that ... it is amazing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this product The band will break, it's only a matter of if it will break during the first 12 months, most do. If not, and it breaks after 1 year, you have a device that is still working but is unusable because the band can not be repaired or replaced. Fitbit will only offer you a small discount on a new Fitbit Surge which is like throwing good money after bad for a flawed product. Buyer beware! The reviews you see are for people who just recently purchased...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from do NOT buy this product I bought my Fitbit in February 2016 and it has been replaced twice because the band keeps bubbling. It has bubbled a third time and the company refuses to replace it because of the expired warranty offering me a 25% coupon instead!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a Garmin I bought this thinking I could do Triathlon training. Turns out the Surge is not really waterproof. Only water resistant. You cannot swim with this watch on or even take a shower. Why tout it as a performance watch when really it has this weakness. Another problem is I can't view the watch during my spin cycle classes. If you want to monitor your heart rate while spinning you have to let go of the handle bars and turn your wrist to view the HR rate. I am seriously thinking of returning this watch and getting a Garmin.
