Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile kitchen gadget I liked the design and versatility of this product. It includes 4 blades (coarse grater, fine grater, straight & julienne slicers), I like that all components can be stored within the case, saving space and keeping it all together. It's a great alternative to buying everything separately. I also liked that the blades fit over the bottom case while slicing/grating so the food drops into in rather than needing a separate container. Unfortunately, I have various graters, a chopper, spiralizer and food processor and only wanted a separate mandolin slicer with the ability to alter the thickness of slices so this didn't work for me and I returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional design, compact, quality, love mine! After using this product a tossed my veggetti pro and my "As seen on TV" dual blade peeler/mandolin. The whole product comes in two attachable plastic containers. The white container holds 4 blades and a hand guard that fit perfectly into the preset slots. The clear end has rubber grips at the bottom so that it doesn't slip, and a rubber grip under the lip where your hand will hold it. On the left and right side of the clear container there are 200 ml - 500 ml marks and 1c - 2c marks. The blades lay flat over the clear container into which the final product falls neatly. No mess. There are 2 graters, 1 large, 1 small, a regular mandolin slicer, and the green one that you see in the photo that has a slicer with a row of extra spiky looking graters, works very similar to a veggetti. Using the green veggetti blade, if you take a medium/long cucumber, lie it down, and slice it all the way from front to back and repeat until there is not enough left to work with, you will have a heap of cucumber noodles. It's even better than what you get from the veggetti pro or spiralizer, because those spit out way too enormously long, never ending noodles. I can whip up an Asian inspired salad in 5 minutes by using the veggetti blade to slice up cucumber, carrot, and apple and the mandolin to very thinly slice up jalapeño and tomato then toss in sesame seeds, crushed peanuts and homemade dressing. The first time I made it, it had to have taken me a minimum of 30 minutes to finely slice everything trying to replicate what I had eaten at a restaurant. I like the mandolin, because it can do a ton of work for you. Instead of dicing that chili pepper/celery/zucchini/etc, just slice it lengthwise until the sections are at a desired width, hold it together, and slice it with the mandolin. When you lift the blade, you will have it diced. Or it can be used for very fine precision slicing. With chilis you can get the most delicate fine slices when you lightly glide them over it. Press down all the way with apples and make perfectly even, perfect thickness apple slices for apple chips. Or with potatoes to fry or bake perfectly even chips. The graters are nicely sharp and don't get jammed. I like how the grated product falls into the plastic container. I have used 4-sided stand up graters that have a bottom lid to keep the product contained. The problem is that no matter what, it's at least somewhat messy when you remove the bottom. Either it spills out too much too fast, or when you tip it prevent that from happening, it spills out a little on both ends. With this grater, it just goes into the container, and if starts to get full before you finish, you empty it out into bowl and finish without a mess. The hand guard is great, too. I don't always need it, but when I do it's very handy. It helps me maneuver and put pressure down for apples which are difficult to hold onto once a little bit has been sliced off. Most of the time all that's required for cleaning is a hot water rinse with a bit of soap. When stuff is stuck on the blades I throw them in the dishwasher, and they come out like new. I would refrain from soaking them for too long. All in all, this is a very happy buy. An exceptional kitchen tool that makes many tasks easier and does some things that I am not skilled to do on my own. It's a multifunctional, well thought out and decently well made piece of equipment. I don't see this as the type of thing that will last a life time, partly because plastic degrades over time, but especially because these blades can neither be sharpened nor are they top quality. For the price, I would happily buy the newest model years down the road when the blades are no longer sharp enough to be useful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Set It's very nice, good quality and I love how all the pieces fit together for storage. No looking for all the missing parts in a drawer. Great set for those who live in apartments or have small kitchens.
