Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this machine! This compact strider is great and looks good too. You can get a good workout with a small piece of equipment. Great for small spaces and for people who don't want to dedicate an entire room to workout equipment. You can use it standing up or sitting down, which is great for exercising while watching TV. :) It is also heavy enough not to move during a workout, but light enough to be moved from room to room if you so choose and has a handle built in to accommodate this movement. It is just as described with adjustable tension and a readout for distance and calories burned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect cardio for small spaces and bad weather I love my InMotion elliptical! For health reasons, I need to do an hour cardio daily, and with progressive nerve problems in legs no longer can run outdoors or on hard surface of treadmill. For the past 2 years I've used this daily at home - does same as elliptical in gym but saves expensive gym memberships...and I can easily fit in exercise around my busy schedule and don't have to go out in bad weather! Fits easily into our down-sized home, where I can workout and watch TV with the family at the same time. Best of all, this week when it started 'catching' when using it, the company was super-responsive in working with me to get an immediate fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased: The machine is smooth and very quiet. I have owned 3 spinner bikes, and I find this to have almost an identical motion and feel, except it is much quieter, more compact, and less expensive. I sometime place a chair in front with it's back to me, and it is similar to the handlebars on a bike (also if you need balance the chair serves this purpose). I didn't think I would use the Strider while sitting; However, sometimes I have completed my workout, but the movie or TV program in front of me hasn't finished, so I turn the strider around sit down and pedal rather than just sitting in front of the TV. This is one of those purchases that has proved to be better than I expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet, stable, pretty good! I bought this because I am doing a graduate program which requires a lot of writing and reading. I suffered a trimalleolar fracture and dislocation of my ankle a couple of years ago and my foot tightens up if I don't move it often. The unit fits nicely under the desk but if you are tall you may find you hit your knees under the desk. I'm short so this isn't a problem. If you crank up the tension you can get a bit of a sweat. It's quiet, which was my main worry. It works standing up but you have to bend your knees to compensate for the shorter stride - that actually makes the workout a little harder because it engages your quads and glutes. So far I am enjoying using it!
