Rated 3 out of 5 by from O.K. Socks Our 8 year old is very tough on all his clothes, socks included. However, I'd hoped the Goldtoe Brand would be of a quality that would withstand the never ending activity. A couple of washings in and I'm already seeing definite wear. Am Guessing these socks will prove to be just as average as most brands. They're nice and our young guy says they are "comfy", just not appearing to be super durable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tight My son is very thin and wears a boys' shoe size 7. I bought these in a Large (sock size 9-11) based on the size chart that says it will fit shoe sizes 3-9. My son says these are not only hard to get on but also too tight around his ankles and leave marks. I would have returned them but he had thrown the packaging away before telling me about the poor fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for active boys! My 9-year-old plays several sports competitively and he is non-stop between practice and just having fun. This is the only brand of socks I have found so far that don't end up with holes worn through them after just a couple of months. He's also very picky about the comfort of his socks and shoes and he has never once complained about these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Socks I love the Gold Toe brand. I have used the myself for years. When I started buying for my grandsons I stayed with the brand. They fit well, run true to size, don't shrink, and outlast all the punishment kids can hand out.
