Rated 2 out of 5 by from Changes were made in the shoe so that it no longer fits properly as it had for many years. For example, the toe box was changed so that it is no longer roomy enough for my toes. The length of the leather from the tip of the toes to where the grommets begin was shortened as was the tongue. The shoe is no longer laced as close to the ankle as before. The stitching above the grommets hits may feet in the wrong place as a result of the changes. I have worn these shoes for many years. I am very disappointed in the changes. The design and construction served me well. Too bad for me it was changed. Perhaps Keds was trying to cut corners on the amount of leather used in the shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good basic Keds This is your basic sneaker, only in leather. It has the usual Keds quality. The leather is soft and it is a true navy in color. It's a little larger than a regular 8.5 wide, but not a deal breaker. Overall, very satisfied. As an FYI, this sneaker does not have the Ortholite insole that Keds seems to be using in a lot of their sneakers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My mom loves these shoes! My mother (89) had polio as a child, and she has had swelling in her legs and feet ever since. These shoes are sturdy yet comfortable enough for her to wear anywhere. We have bought the tan ones in the past, and the black ones look dressier than a canvas shoe.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product has changed I have purchased Keds for years, my go to summer sneakers. This is the second time I have tried them and noticed that the styling has changed and that it seems that the manufacturer is skimping on the material used to create the shoe. It feels as though the sides of the shoe are shorter and less sturdy and the all over feel is very uncomfortable. I have an old pair that I wear to garden and they are so much sturdier. Go back to the way they used to be, why does everything have to change, and, not for the better it seems.
