Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing ! I have been wearing Leather Keds for more years than I can remember and the look and quality was always something that you could count on. Unfortunately, that's not the case today. The shoe does not look like real leather. If it is, it's a very thin cheap quality. Also, the leather color is no longer White. Now it looks more like an Antique White with a pale grayish cast which I don't care for at all. The look, construction and feel of the shoe is very different that it used to be. I kept this pair but won't be buying them again. What a shame. These changes have cheapened a "Classic Sneaker" so much so that it is no longer a winner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Changes were made in the shoe so that it no longer fits properly as it had for many years. For example, the toe box was changed so that it is no longer roomy enough for my toes. The length of the leather from the tip of the toes to where the grommets begin was shortened as was the tongue. The shoe is no longer laced as close to the ankle as before. The stitching above the grommets hits may feet in the wrong place as a result of the changes. I have worn these shoes for many years. I am very disappointed in the changes. The design and construction served me well. Too bad for me it was changed. Perhaps Keds was trying to cut corners on the amount of leather used in the shoes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product has changed I have purchased Keds for years, my go to summer sneakers. This is the second time I have tried them and noticed that the styling has changed and that it seems that the manufacturer is skimping on the material used to create the shoe. It feels as though the sides of the shoe are shorter and less sturdy and the all over feel is very uncomfortable. I have an old pair that I wear to garden and they are so much sturdier. Go back to the way they used to be, why does everything have to change, and, not for the better it seems.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They've changed! I have 2 pairs of these in the white--one I wear to work and the other I save for nice. I love the fit, feel and look. I bought them a few years ago--same price. These are not the same style, fit, or feel. The leather is stiffer, the shoes runs really small (my others are 8 M as are these--but I cannot get my foot into these and I still buy 8 M in new shoes), and the style is subtly changed. A shame but I will look for other black leather sneakers. Thanks anyway, Keds, you ruined a good thing.
