Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dulls quickly First, these knifes do not slide in and out of their protective covers very easily. I understand the protection aspect of it, but they are tight enough that I worry they will slip every time and I will cut myself. As to the sharpness of the knives: I loved them the first five or so times I used them, but they have been dull ever since. Came with no care instructions so looked up how to sharpen them and have to every time I use them and still have to poke a hole in a tomato (for ex.) before I can slice it, and skin still tears a little on the bottom, not a clean cut.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from unimpressed I got this set thinking it should be just fine. I used the Santoku knife and realize that it isn't as good as another brand of ceramic knife that I have been using for several years. The Food Network knife blade is noticeably thinner. It didn't seem to cut that well, either. I pulled out my old ceramic knife to compare cutting the same food and even though it has been used for years it worked much better. The price was good with all of the promos but having a brand new ceramic knife that doesn't cut that well isn't worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them! I love these knives. They are so sharp and make perfect cuts even with tomatos. They are very thin and ceramic, so you have to be careful because they can easily chip or break so I do not use them to cut through tough items. I also hand wash them. I've had mine for a couple of years now and they have stayed sharp and are the best knives I own.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke while cutting bread I've had these knives for about 6 months. I was cutting a loaf of bread in half and the knife snapped right in half. For the price they are not worth it.
