Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect We are only beginning the potty training process, and our daughter is getting used to sitting on this potty. It seems like it would be comfortable. The design is neutral and will be great for our son when he is ready to be potty trained as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a first-time potty Starting with the bad: this says you can use it as a step-stool; but you can't. The "step-stool" portion is ONLY usable when you disassemble the entire potty. You have to take the whole top off and use the bottom hollow-half of the base of the toilet as the "stool." Which means that you have to re-assemble the entire thing before they can use it again. I thought the lid was going to be the "stool" portion, like many other pottys I've seen, which makes the most sense. My other complaint, where do they expect you to find 2"x3" flushable wipes??? The container is like 3" deep, 3" across, and 2" front-to-back. The only way the wipes fit in the holder behind the seat is if you fold them in half. Then they're impossible to get out one at a time. And a toddler is never going to be able to reach directly behind them to get a wipe! BAD place for them! THE PLUS SIDE: I read a few articles that in European countries they start to potty train once the child/baby can sit up on their own. So I gave it a shot! My 8 month old daughter used this the FIRST time we put her on it, at her exact 8-month mark! She has been using it consistantly for 6 weeks now. Every day. She gets SO excited when she sees it! We only have to change diapers now first thing in the morning, after she's been asleep for 8+ hours. The toilet paper holder will be more useful once she's old enough to know how to wipe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice little potty chair! This is a nice little potty chair. Only thing so far I'm not a fan of is how the P-guard just pops right off. My son is always knocking it off. Otherwise I have no complaints but have only been using it for a couple weeks!
