Not good
I bought this because it has the area to put the vapor pads. That is the only good thing about it. First thing I noticed is even on the lowest setting, there is a lot of mist. If you have it on a table it will get damp. On the high setting it put out so much mist, my carpet was soaked by morning. It is NOT leaking, its just the mist comes out and right down to the carpet. I figured it would be ok if I keep it on low. Well next thing I found out is it does NOT have auto shut off if it runs out of water. And now after a month it is no longer quiet. I cant sleep if it is on it is so loud now. Returning it for something else.

Very good humidifer
I've had this humidifier for 5 years and counting. I only use it 3-4 times a year when I get a cold, and it helps reduce both the symptoms and the duration of my cold. I place it on my nightstand and let it run all night. The key is to be sure to have the disposable vapor strips that you can by at any pharmacy. It's also very quiet.

Piece of over priced junk!
only used it two or three times, emptied it, stored it for a month, went to use it again and doesn't work. Absolutely ridiculous. I could see having to trouble shoot of I've had the unit for a while but barely used it. Will be calling for a refund. Had other kinds before and never had a problem. Not worth the money.

Great Product
I did my research on this product, it is one that is rated good w/ Consumer Reports. I am very pleased with this purchase. Very quiet & works great!
