Rated 1 out of 5 by from Traps water inside which causes mold My son received the Anchor's Away Pirate Ship for his birthday in June and we have just recently discovered that there is water trapped in the two layers of plastic and there is now mold growing. We tried to figure out how the water got in there but have had no success. Water slowly leaks out of one of the legs where the slide is so we thought that might be where it is but we have had no such luck. My husband drilled holes now in the bottom layer to remove the water but there is no way to remove the mold. I am very disappointed as at this point we are going to have to purchase him a new one to avoid contact with the mold. Up until this point, we have loved the table and the hours of fun it provided.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pros and cons Purchased for our 2 1/2 year old son. The water cannon detaches very easily but he had no trouble operating it. The spinners on the mast were a selling feature for us but sadly, the streams of water from the pump hardly spin them, if at all. Also the pump pumps water as you are pumping but it doesn't keep water flowing when you stop. The finger spinners that create a current are neat. And the little pirates and scoops are a nice extra. The installation of the drain plug was annoyingly difficult and it does not stay plugged well. Little tykes needs to redesign some features. At $100 Canadian I expected the features to work!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value This was for our granddaughter. We have custody of her and we (my wife mainly) rebuilt a section of our backyard to accommodate a playground for her. The pirate ship was a very good value. It seemed pricey to me at first, but when looking at other play sets, it was reasonably priced. It took a little heft to get it set up but it is sturdy. There are a lot of pieces that our granddaughter enjoys. She loves putting water from one item into another item. We recently refilled it, and she was not a happy camper having to wait to play in the water. Our granddaughter is about 2.5 years old.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not too sure about it My kids were super excited when we bought this toy for them. It look us less then 30 min to put it together. My kids love this toy, and it's truly an adorable looking toy, with lots of engaging things to play with. My complains is that if you fill the toy up with too much water the spinners float up and they are useless. The water cannon is hard for my smaller kids to work. Also with in the first week, the plug keep on unplugging and my water pump broke. I called the company and they are sending me replacement parts. I hope this fixes my problems cause my kids really love this toy.
